Once self-described as shy, Norlela has made a sustained effort to build confidence in service of a larger purpose. This includes participating in Teach For Malaysia's leadership programme. Now pursuing a Management degree at MSU, she is equipping herself to be an effective advocate and leader. Her vision: to instil genuine pride in Orang Asli identity among her people, a mission as much about inner transformation as structural change.
