As a secretary of his village committee, Roslan plays an active role in managing homestays, leading community projects, and driving eco-tourism initiatives. Committed to strengthening his community’s self-reliance, he works to ensure that Orang Asli voices remain strong and competitive in education, entrepreneurship, and beyond, while showcasing the rich culture and heritage of his people.

We recognise that a sustainable, thriving future is inherently relational and reciprocal. As signatories, we accept our shared agency and responsibility in shaping such futures. 

We will, therefore, take action and begin from where we are. In Malaysia, this starts with principled, intentional, and meaningful allyship with the Orang Asli.

We therefore commit to stand with the Orang Asli as allies: to listen with humility, show up in solidarity, and walk alongside them in their pursuit of justice, equity, and self-determination – whether as those who call Malaysia home, or as guests upon this land.
